23rd Annual 5K Run for the Animals and 1-Mile Fun Walk held at Wheaton Regional Park (2000 Shorefield Road, Wheaton, MD 20902). In-person event at 8:00 a.m. with virtual option available anytime during the week of May 17th. Registration: $28 (prior to April 5), $30 (April 5-May 16), $35 (race day). Packet pickup: Saturday May 16, 10am-2pm at RnJ Sports, or Sunday May 17, 6:30-8:00am at the park.

Thanksgiving celebration with the sanctuary's turkeys. Ticket: $10.00 donation (children under 12 free)
